In no particular order, I give you great shows that you still might have to check out. Shows that are innovative, classy, sophisticated and outrageously entertaining.

Burn Notice
Spies don't get fired, they get burned.
A spy recently disavowed by the US Government uses his Special Ops training to help others in trouble.
Why I love it? Tasteful action sequences. Funny. Smartly-written. The range of Jeffrey Donovan’s acting range as the lead character especially when he gets into different personas is interesting at best. Who doesn’t want a trigger-happy and uber hot female lead?

Fear Itself
A television series broken down into 13 separate 60-minute films from premiere horror writers and directors.
Why I love it? Every episode is self-contained so if you missed one episode then you won’t feel lost in dark forest. When you look through the creepiness of it all you will see that the acting and the stories are superb. Powerful casting. Well-developed plotlines. The suspense and the occasional gore. Well-balanced.

Modern Family
One big (straight, gay, multi-cultural, traditional) happy family.
A satirical look at three different families and the trials they face in each of their own uniquely comedic ways.
Why I love it? The characters may not be overly-wacky, but they're more believable and easier to sympathize with in my eyes. It’s whole lotta fun. Mockumentary. Witty dialogue and plotline.

The Middle
Average is the new below average.
The daily mishaps of a harried woman and her semi-dysfunctional family and their attempts to survive life in general in the city of Orson, Indiana.
Why I love it? Episode per episode expect a lot of laughs. The best family sitcom. Everything in it is perfect. The acting, the story, the editing. A family worth visiting week after week. This is my new favorite family next to Jesus.’

The Lost Room
Some doors are better left closed.
A detective investigates a mysterious motel room, which acts as a portal to alternate universe.
Why I love it? It’s a kind of show that, like Lost, makes you think. The lead, Joe Miller, is well portrayed as brave, smart and a desperate father who lost her child on The Room. Again, well-written. It does not rely on pricey special effects for the mystery. The mystery is in the story, the way it should be.
Worst Week
Good guy. Bad Luck.
A young couple get quickly acquainted with their soon-to-be in-laws. A man plans to tell his girlfriend's parents that he wants to marry their daughter, and that she is carrying his child. But then, nothing seems to go right for him.
Why I love it? The lead has the worst of luck than I have ever seen! And that’s what makes it worth watching. The writers and thinkers behind the show seem to concoct situations that are the most embarrassing ever on TV and how are lead character, Sam, deals with it is pure genius. When I say it’s well written and well casted, I mean it. And this show is in it to make you laugh your heart out.
