Hi! I am Jaysee Pingkian.I was born the day Nelson Mandela, Africa's famous leader was freed after 27 arduous years. It was a beautiful day for the rest of the world. The day was March 2, 1990. I would never have imagined how my life would turn out right after.
In this world where violence, inequality, distrust and culture of death is highlighted, I try change the world for the better through my own little ways. One of which is creating positive content from Taguig City, Philippines that I hope will inspire, motivate and educate. From humble beginnings, I started this blog in high school posting pictures of my cute cats and basically anything that my then-feature phone could capture. Eventually it had grown from passion to a profession, the rest they say is history.
Now I would love to think that there are great reasons why this site has been awarded Best Cebu Blog by the BCB team, won Gadget Magazine's Good Blog Awards Special Category for Success Story, nominated for Philippine Blog Awards and was named as a finalist for Cebu Media Excellence Awards.
I believe that "Life is unfair but it loves those who dare live it, and there is nothing in this world too small to talk about."
I promote about Anything Awesome.
For starters, this blog is about all the awesomeness that surrounds this world of ours:
- from eye-opening revelations,
- to lessons from great brands and events,
- awe-inspiring human interest stories and places,
- but most especially, this blog is dedicated to social good and personal development!
ExposureLearned community development as an alumna of the Young Minds Academy Program (YMA) of the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc., lead student body initiated projects and events as Vice President of the AMA Computer College Cebu, actively participated in the course of the undertakings of the Cebu Bloggers Society Inc. (CBSi) as a Board of Trustee and head of the Outreach Committee and battling malnutrition in the Region 7 as the Secretary of the Media Information Network for Nutrition and Development Region (MIND 7).
CareerI dedicate my Cum Laude award to my family who drives me to do great things, and to all those who thought they could be the very best version of themselves, whom God intended them to be. I then worked for Australian businesses through WebXpress Inc. as a web designer for two years and educated international clients as a Design Consultant for the biggest self-publishing conglomerate Author Solutions Inc. for two years as well. As if being a Microsoft Certified Professional and BS-IT was not enough, I thirst for more knowledge especially with regard to how corporate governance changes the world, so I proceeded to take up MBA. I then relocated to Manila to do Risk Management Analysis for North America's megabank JPMorgan & Chase at Bonifacio Global City. Now, I currently work for the world's biggest human resource solutions provider ADP Inc. as Human Capital Management Analyst at Makati City.

"If you want to save the river, save the mountain" was the theme when I won 1st runner up for an essay contest when I was 14. It was organized by WaterRemind of University of San Carlos. Looking at it now, I could say, I've had better ones. 'Twas a great milestone in my writing career. Link
