I'm not really into running events but I was able to join one thru my company, the Primary Fun Run which had me break my first three kilometer run on the streets of Cebu one fine Saturday morning. But now, I am giving everyone the chance to experience the happiness running with family and friends while at the same time doing something really awesome for others, help them build a home.

Introducing Run for Home...

It is a fundraising event of Globe which will be giving hope to the beneficiaries of the Dasig Kabataan Foundation and the medical mission spearheaded by the Mandaue City Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Registration fees are as follows:
21K – Php700
15K – Php600

Inspirational Poster from Great Songs

All of us go through something... the magnitude differs and so do the situations we battle ourselves in. Life is simple but no one said it's easy, a classic line that rings true every single day.For that, we all need each other and at times when we think we are on our own we draw inspiration from those that empower us somehow. For me, I sometimes get it from really good music and with lines and performances so powerful, I will make it my life's calling to create a series of artworks that give life to the inspiration brought about by today's inspirational tunes.

Always remember whatever it is that is devastating your day, it is not the end of the world, it's just another day... Spread the good vibes!

CBSi@4: It's More Fun in CBSi

The country's premier blogging institution that has proven to promote government programs, businesses, events and causes in great ways will turn a year older this Feb. 14.

Cebu Bloggers Society Inc. will celebrating the organizations' founding anniversary with a simple and fun dinner this Feb. 11 sponsored by the Azkals Sports Bar and Grill.

For the event, I have been tasked to design an online poster that will visualize this year's festive theme: It's More Fun in CBSi which also encourages bloggers who may want to join the org to upscale their blogging experience and open opportunities and give honor to the worldwide tourism campaign of our country. I have incorporated the elements of Sinulog and Fiesta in the artwork which definitely encapsulates the Filipino brand of fun.

Happy 4th Anniversary guys! More power to all of us in the online publishing and social media industry!

In behalf of the members and the Board of Trustees of the Cebu Bloggers Society Inc. thank you…

Wandering Bohol At Its Best Part 2

As we pranced around Butterfly Conservation Area, there are so many things that could leave you at awe staring at so many of this beautiful insect. Just imagine a huge lovely garden with all kinds of butterflies wandering around and hundreds of species of them kissing some flowers and some just move around like nomads. The beauty of these creatures can only be spotlighted by the backdrop they move about. That and the quips made by their trained young tourist guides makes the trip to the sanctuary worth it.

Think you’re born for a wild ride? I thought so for myself too as we all strapped on our gears for the ATV ride of our lives in the hillsides of Chocolate Hills. I have not braced myself for the muddiest ride yet and that was just half the fun because what really makes it the highlight of the whole trip was the fact that you get to drive it yourself and get to see the world renowned Hills this close and we even stopped over a running river on the way to the Tres Marias. Just the moto…

Wandering Bohol At Its Best Part 1

It was dawn of December 27th and I haven't slept well because I was partying with my cousins and friends when I fumbled my way to a taxi heading for Pier 1 when I suddenly got a call from my office mate saying that she had cancelled our trip because it had been raining. So I grabbed all of my things out of the taxi and decided to go home, mope around and sleep. Then the rain ran somewhere far perhaps and I was awakened by a call that we are making the trip in the afternoon as it could be safer. Hours later, we all met up at the Pier, contacted our tour guides for confirmation and excitedly boarded OceanJet for a trip that entertained us with Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

As we stepped into Tagbilaran Pier, the weather was still not that accommodating with light rainshowers, so we have to enjoy what we can get. Just talking about our itinerary just blew me off. It was not a first time for me and Yenna in the mystic island of Bohol but still have so much travel itch that could matc…
